About Six passengers are feared dead and several others injured after the driver of a Sprinter bus travelling from Ofankor to Accra lost control and crashed into a concrete at Taifa Junction around Achimota early Tuesday morning.

The driver of the Sprinter bus sustained a severe head injury some passengers were reportedly trapped in the bus for a while until personnel from the Ghana Fire Service and Police Motor and Traffic Department (MTTD) arrived and cut through the crushed vehicle to free them.
An eyewitness said the driver was on the phone when the incident occurred.
An ambulance was at the scene to convey the injured to the hospital while the deceased have been conveyed to the mortuary.
