A former Ambassador and immediate past National Vice Chairman of the Opposition National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Said Sinare, yesterday charged members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to put aside their differences and ensure victory for the party, saying the party cannot afford to be in opposition again, following the damage the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has done to the country.

Alhaji Said Sinare, who is the founder of Zongo for the NDC, gave the charge in a meeting with some Zongo leaders in the Greater Accra Region.

Mr. Sinare, while urging members of the NDC and Muslims to be actively involved in the task of rescuing the country from the ruling NPP, said: “No government has done the kind of damage the NPP government has done to this country. The debt profile of Ghana is unbelievable, yet the government is behaving as if it is one of their achievements.”

“The NPP has destroyed the basis of this country. They have failed and threatened the existence of this country, and the only party to resuscitate the dream of being a Ghanaian is the NDC, and that is the major reason why we must campaign vigorously for the NDC in the Zongos and we must vote for the visionary John Dramani Mahama and all NDC parliamentary candidates across the country”, he stated in Hausa.
