2026 FIFA WCQ: Black Stars touch down in Morocco for clash against Madagascar on Monday

The Black Stars have arrived in Morocco for their 2026 FIFA World Cup Group I qualifier against Madagascar. Ghana’s contingent departed Accra on Saturday morning (10:30) and arrived at the Acharif Alidrissi Airport in Al Hoceima at 16:16 (GMT).

All 23 players traveled to Morocco in good condition ahead of the crucial Group I game, which takes place on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Ghana recorded a resounding victory against Chad on Friday to climb to the top of the table and will aim to cement their place at the top with a victory over Madagascar.

Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Dr. Randy Abbey, and Vice Chairman Stephen Appiah led the delegation. Also traveling with the team is former captain and legend Asamoah Gyan.

The squad include: Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Benjamin Asare, Joseph Wollacott, Gideon Mensah, Ebenezer Annan, Kingsley Schindler, Kamaradini Mamudu, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, Razak Simpson, Jonas Adjetey, Jerome Opoku, Thomas Partey, Lawrence Agyekum, Abu Francis, Mohammed Kudus, Ernest Nuamah, Jordan Ayew, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Jerry Afriyie, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Christopher Bonsu Baah.

This Group I fixture is scheduled for 19:00 Hrs Kick-Off at the Stade Mimoun Al Arsi in Al Hoceima, Morocco.
