The outspoken Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has predicted that President Nana Akufo-Addo won’t have it easy in the 2020 general elections.

This he said is due to the fact that there are issues in the New Patriotic Party at the grassroots level.

I will not say 2020 is a done deal for Akufo-Addo. I’m a good politician. I’m a grassroots person. The NPP people are annoyed. The grassroots are not seeing anything. So it’s not as easy as that so we have to correct those things,” he told Asempa FM.

Agyapong added that the party is doing absolutely nothing to support members of the party at the grassroots level especially financially.

“Someone needs GHc500 so can’t you give them such monies from MASLOC? Resource MASLOC to enable it take care of the ordinary people,” Agyapong said.
