1. The world is a stage; perform your role with passion and finesse because you don’t know when your light would be turned off. Work while it is day because when the night dawns you can do nothing.
[ads1]2. Death is no respecter of persons, age, status and sex. No one has signed a death pact with God to know when he would leave this earth. Live your life as if you can day at any moment and indeed that is the case.
3. Ghanaians have no respect for human life. Ghanaians don’t value the sanctity of human dignity. Premium is only placed on one’s life based on material possessions, social status and achievement. We share despicable and condescending pictures of people’s nakedness and death on social media without a shred of guilt and remorse.
4. The whole nation is one big fire service station. We’re best at being reactionary rather than being proactive. We have never succeeded in solving any problem permanently; Ebony’s death brings to the fore the deathtraps we have as highways and roads around the country.
5. It reveals the fleeting nature of human life. We’re like flowers of the field which in the morning look fresh and alluring but fall to the ground the next moment. Live beyond the material world. Trust in God for your tomorrow.
6. Unleash your gifts and talents in service to God and humanity because you don’t know when you will check out of this earth. Life is God’s gift so live it meaningfully and purposefully.
7. Religious bigotry and pride make so-called prophets gloat over the perishing of precious souls. False sense of religious knowledge makes “prophets” claim fame and popularity from tragic losses their own shame.
8. Ebony’s death brings to light human limitation and frailty. Let’s learn to humble ourselves and love one another. We entered the world unarmed and leave the world with empty hands.
9. There is leadership crisis across the horizon. From the home to the throne. Let’s lead the way in morality, decency and chastity. The most difficult person to lead is your own self.
10. There is life beyond death. There is life after death and there is legacy after death. What will happen to you after death? What would you leave behind after death?
YES, stand out and make a difference in your generation.
