PSG boss Luis Enrique has expressed confidence that his side will see off Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-final second leg at home.
Despite a period of sustained dominance in the French Ligue 1, PSG has yet to prove their strength in Europe. PSG aims to make their second Champions League final appearance but must beat the German side at the Parc de Princes.
Having rested over the weekend in the domestic competitions, PSG is preparing for the second-leg showdown in the Champions League. Luis Enrique and his charges hope to overturn the 1-0 deficit when they square up against Borussia Dortmund tonight.
The former Barcelona gaffer is optimistic about pulling off the strings, having already set his sights on playing in the final at Wembley.
“The aim isn’t to win by two goals, but to win, if you think you have to score two goals that seems like a big target. We just want to play and score. If we score in the 89th minute, it will carry on. We don’t need to score right away, we just want to win the game,” Luis Enrique said.
Borussia Dortmund didn’t have the luxury of an easy weekend though their heavily rotated side trashed Augsburg 5-1.
The match will kick off at 7:00 pm GMT today at Parc de Princes (Paris).
