Bawumia is incompetent if La Palm Royal Hotel Board is – Ablakwa to Majority Leader

Okudzeto Ablakwa

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu has said if the Board of La Palm Royal Hotel is incompetent. His remarks follow a comment by Majority Leader Afenyo-Markin that described the board as incompetent.

According to Ablakwa, the Majority Group Leader staged a defense for Rock City and Byran Acheampong saying the board and management of La Palm Royal Hotel are incompetent, inefficient and lack ideas hence the decision to sell it to the competent and visionary Bryan Acheampong.

Prof Kwaku Appiah-Adu is the Senior Advisor to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the Board Chairman of La Palm Royal Hotel.

Based on that, Okudzeto Ablakwa said the Vice President is also highly incompetent since he has an incompetent Senior Advisor. He wondered what advice the Professor gave Dr Bawumia on the SSNIT hotels sale to Bryan Acheampong.

“It would be interesting to know what his advice to the Vice President is as regards the infamous sale of SSNIT’s hotels to Minister of Agric, Bryan Acheampong. What is therefore the position of Vice President Alhaji Bawumia on this sale, considering his close proximity to the La Palm Royal board chair?”

The Parliamentarian concluded that any decision from the Vice president is an incompetent one, zeroing in on the quality of advice given to Dr. Bawumia by Prof. Kwaku Appiah-Adu

“If what these NPP propagandists and Majority Group Leader have said about the current board and management of La Palm Royal is true, what does that say about the quality of advice he’s giving the Vice President at the expense of suffering taxpayers who pay him for that kind of advice? Ablakwa quizzed in a Facebook post.
