Zoomlion Donates To Chief Imam, Media Towards Eidul-fitir

Ghana’s number one waste management company, Zoomlion Ghana Limited a subsidiary of Jospong Group of Companies has donated 20 bags of rice, 10 boxes of oil and an undisclosed amount of money to the National Chief Imam of Ghana Sheikh Osumanu Nuhu Sharubutu.

The annual donation by the chairman of the Jospong Groups of Companies, Mr Siaw Agyepong was to support the Chief Imam put a smile on the faces of his family and the less privileged Muslims around him during the Eid -al-Fitir which climaxed the 30 days of Ramadan.

Presenting the items to the National Chief Imam at his residence in Accra on Wednesday, the Corporate Communication Officer for the Group, Madam Sophia-Lisa Kudjordji stated that the entire Juspong Group of companies and the Executive Chairman highly appreciate the effort of Sheikh Sharubutu in handling national issues.

According to her, Ramadan (fasting) is an important religious duty on Muslims calendar which must be climaxed with peace and happiness.

She noted that Mr Siaw-Agyepong and the entire Jospong Group is giving the items as their token to the National Chief Imam to celebrate with his family and the people around him.

On his part, the National Chief Imam expressed his gratitude to Mr Siaw-Agyepong for the kind gesture and prayed for him and the Jospong Group to reach a higher level.

He called on Mr. Siaw Agyepong to further expand his companies to help reduce unemployment in the country.

He said putting a smile on another person’s face was a blessing, adding, “if you put a smile on another person’s face, you will never lack from God.”

In a related development, the Executive Chairman has donated bags of rice and boxes of oil and an undisclosed amount of money to some selected Muslim media houses.
