The Young Democrats, a youth wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has congratulated His Excellency Alhaji Said Sinare on his appointment as the National Chairman of the Zongo Working Committee of the party.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Association, Hon. Japhet Festus Gbede, the group praised Alhaji Sinare’s dedication, exceptional leadership and selfless service to the NDC, Zongo communities and beyond.
The appointment was widely anticipated, enthusiastically received and hailed as a testament to Alhaji Sinare’s unwavering commitment to the party and the Zongo community. The Young Democrats believe that Said Sinare’s expertise, wisdom and passion will continue to drive progress, innovation and inclusivity; elevating the NDC to new heights.
Alhaji Sinare’s leadership has been instrumental in driving progress and innovation in the Zongo communities. Festus Gbade said Said Sinare’s appointment would further solidify the party’s connection with the grassroots.
“We believe that Alhaji Sinare’s voice the man with the Rawlings spirits will be instrumental in mobilizing the youth and energizing the party’s base for the 2024 Victory of our party,” said Hon. Japhet Festus Gbede.
The Young Democrats also commend His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the Johnson Asiedu Nketia-led National Executive Committee of the NDC for the appointment. They said it is a testament to the party’s commitment to excellence and dedication to removing the “corrupt government of President Nana Addo Danqua Akufo-Addo/ Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia-led NPP government.”

Alhaji Said Sinare is a former Ambassador to Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the founder of Zongo for NDC. In 2020, he singlehandedly toured the length and breadth of the country and spent his energy and resources to ensure President Mahama garnered the needed and expected Muslim votes in the general elections. According to the group, Said Sinare will bring with him into the 2024 elections campaign a wealth of experience and insight that will undoubtedly contribute to the continued progress and success of the NDC in the polls.
