Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has lashed out at politicians who have defended either John Mahama’s “do or die” or Nana Addo’s “all die be die” statements.
According to the actress, she has found it “amusing” listening to people who have used “intellectualism” to defend the infamous comments made by John Mahama and Nana Addo.
Nana Addo made the “all die be die” comment in the lead up to the 2012 elections whiles John Mahama recently made the “do or die” comment. John Mahama insisted that “do or die” is an idiomatic expression hence it is needless for him to retract the statement.
Shockingly, depending on which side of the political divide one belongs to, the remarks by the former and current President have either been opposed or defended.
Lydia Forson couldn’t hide her disappointment with the political class and called them out for their “disingenuousness and intellectual dishonesty”.
