Dr. Lawrence Appiah, founder of the US- based Diaspora progressive Movement has bemoaned the silence of leaders of Faith based organisations, Civil Society Groups and Ghanaians in general over the temperature in the country in relation to the recent ‘Dumsor’ challenge.

In a write-up on the recent power outages, Dr. Lawrence said he thank God that the judgement of the Supreme Court of Ghana in his view confirmed Mrs. Jean Mensah Adukuwei’s errors.

Adding that if Mahama had won the 2020 presidential race of Ghana, the temperature in the country would have been 1000 decrees with the return of ‘Dumsor’.

“if John Mahama had won in 2020, the temperature in Ghana now would have been 1000 decrees with this dumsor. I now know why I gave thanks to God after the Supreme Court confirmed the errors of Mrs. Jean Mensa” he noted.

Dr. Lawrence seeks to rely on how People reacted to the same ‘Dumsor’ in the tenure of former president John Dramani Mahama.

“I heard that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Energy Minister, said Ghana will not slip into Dumsor. Does Napo not know that Ghana is already in Dumsor? Hon. Hawa Koomson also said those fishes died because of stress. If they said such stupid things in 2020 and still some uneducated Ghanaians voted for them, why wouldn’t they continue in their stupidity? He queries.

He revealed the “problem of dumsor started somewhere in June 2020 but because of the elections, it was covered-up until now. This is the time Ghanaians are going to see how useless Dr. Matthew Prempeh and some of the Ministers are. He messed up the Education Ministry and now look at what he is doing at Energy”.

“Ghanaians are going to see how they didn’t just vote for an incompetent Nana Addo but also a Head of State. We warned you about these bastards in 2020 and if dumsor is with you now, just live with it. There are other economic sectors that are yet to break down and this is why Nana Addo was angry when he was sworn-in. He knew the problems ahead of him, including the Alan/Bawumiah nonsense”, the statement read.

“I have not started writing yet. Mahama beba”, he further said.
