Dear WhatsApp Group Admins,
This number 0504841102 has hacked another member of your group’s WhatsApp account and replaced same with his number.
He/she also used the DP of his victim as his/her DP.
How the victim’s WhatsApp was hacked:
The victim first received a call on this number – 0206281088 telling him that they are creating a new WhatsApp group due to the invasion of a fraudster on the current group he belongs to so they are migrating him to the new platform.
They then told the victim to check his phone and that there is an SMS alert so the code sent to him should be given to them.
Once the victim sent the code, he lost membership in all the WhatsApp groups he belongs to.
Another victim also received the call from this number 0551470299 but did not pay attention to the caller.
What Happened after the call:
After the call, the victim noticed that he cannot post or access all the groups he belong to on WhatsApp.
What do they do after taken over the groups?
They post fraudulent messages such as the one below which is a pure scam.

What Admins must do?
Please all WhatsApp Admins should kindly scan through their pages and remove that number immediately. Also, once you get a notice that your member has changed his/her number, quickly remove the new member from your group and reach out to the old number to confirm if her/she was the one that performed that action.
Please ensure you go to your WhatsApp settings > Security > to secure your WhatsApp also get the Two-step verification done on your WhatsApp to minimize this type of hacking.
