A former Youth Organiser of the NDC in the Damongo Constituency, Alhaji Fuseini Rambo has expressed the readiness of many NDC members in Damongo to support former President Mahama’s “boot for boot” in the 2020 election.
Alhaji Rambo Fuseini Alhassan encouraged macho men of the NDC to be prepared to defend the party and be committed to this course.
He said, “The NDC is a party we have served since our infancy and will continue to serve it till we are no more”.
Speaking in an interview with the Nkilgi FM’s Damongo correspondent, Zion Imoro Abdul Rauf, Alhaji Fuseini Rambo said the NDC would match the NPP boot for boot and will inflict pains into anybody who has the intention to do that, or someone who has already done that to them.
He said, he is not educated, but he believes that, the country is been governed by laws and that, all activities of government and the state goes in line with the country’s rule of law.
He expressed his disappointment in the recent electoral violence at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra region.
“I thought Nana Addo would have been one of the best performing presidents of Ghana in terms of the individual rights and freedoms and the general security perspective, it seems he has so far performed woefully poor and it’s nothing good to write home about,” he said.
He told Nkilgi FM, “it is the first in the history of Ghana seeing a legislator being slapped by a civilian purported to be a security officer”.
The Former youth organiser also urged supporters to go beyond President John Mahama’s boot for boot and move further to match the NPP in 2020 “head-head and Chest -Chest”.
Alhaji Rambo, who is a staunch supporter and an advocate of the return of John Mahama to lead the NDC , has urged supporters of the party to be firm and solid to behind John Dramani Mahama since he is the only person that can match Nana Addo beyond boot for boot out of the flagstaff house.
Alhaji Rambo, therefore, praised God for his revelation using the Ayawaso West Wuogon to tell the leadership of the NDC that the 2020 election is not going to be easy as the see it.
He said the NDC must stand on its feet since what Ghana saw in the by-election is a “dress rehearsal” for 2020.
Alhaji Rambo said Damongo is the birth place of the former President and that, they would not hesitate to take anyone by surprise if they dare him for what he said.
