Weep No More Efo Worlanyo, Rest Well Kojo Nsiah (Kintampo Fine Boy)

Before I proceed with the piece, permit me to do a quick introduction of myself.

I was a constituency youth organizer and part of the delegates that elected Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo. I did not support his bid to be the Regional Youth Organizer on a principle of allegiance to Comrade John Ayaaba, the then Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, in a contest that included Bilal the Bono East Regional Youth Organizer. I became friends with Kojo Nsiah as nicknamed him #KintampoFineBoy whiles he called me #Troublesome Edem. We were all under the leadership of Efo Worlanyo after the elections.

One of the very few vocal and visible youth organizers of our time has dedicated his life and being to the party, that if you get close to him, you get infected rapidly like Covid-19.

The death of Kojo Nsiah (Kintampo Fine Boy) shook my whole being because I remember our last conversation very well (teasing and teases) as is expected of great comrades. I wasn’t able to write a piece in his honor to make the world know how much Kintampo Fine Boy was more NDC than NDC.

Efo Worlanyo I mourn with you. I feel your pain. Your youthful heart and mind will not be at peace, I know how you cared for your comrades at the constituency. You introduced the word COMMANDER to the body politics of the youth. Take heart brother.

And to Bilal, Stay strong. It is not easy to loose a lieutenant. My brother stay strong. God has a purpose and plan for your team. Soldier On.

To the youths organizers of the ‘Far-East’ ie Bono East, do not be down. We understood the nature of the job before we took it. It involves frequent traveling and meetings.

I pray the Lord keep your souls in his path. May the death of Kintampo Fine Boy inspire us to greatness and make us committed to the creator.

Weep Not Brong Ahafo.
Weep Not Far-East.
Weep Not Comrades.
Weep Not Worlanyo.

Rest Well All Fallen Comrades.
Rest Well Kintampo Fine Boy.

Edem Koku Edem
Ahafo.
