The Deputy Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer for National Democratic congress (NDC), Amorse Blessing Amos has described this generation as accomplices for staying mute and observing while things goof up in the country.

According to him, everything for this generation is being stolen by the septuagenarian generation.

On Tuesday, September 21, 2021, Minority Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, revealed President Akufo-Addo in his recent trip to the United States chartered the same ultra-luxury VIP jet he used to travel to the UK in July and Germany in August at the neglect of the presidential Falcon jet.

“I can authoritatively confirm without a scintilla of doubt or any equivocation for that matter that President Akufo-Addo on his current trip to the United States of America has again chartered the same ultra luxury aircraft he used to the UK and Germany — the Luxembourg-based luxury jet registered LX-DIO and operated by Global Jet Luxembourg. Same Boeing 737-900ER BBJ3 with Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) 62515 and Line Number 5659”.

He further disclosed in a facebook post that, “at US$14,000 an hour, Ghanaians should be expecting to pay a staggering US$616,000; that is an elephantine 3.7million Ghana Cedis by the President’s return”.

In a Facebook post to address his displeasure, Amos wrote; “My generation is looking on while President Akufo Addo continues to spit in our faces by travelling in luxurious jet for fun. We are just looking on”.

” Everything of my generation is being stolen by a septuagenarian generation. Unfortunately for my generation, we’ve either become accomplices or watching on while things go bad”, he added.

However, Amos Blessing believes that this generation is “falling, if not failed”.
