The Volta Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), had expressed their profound gratitude to former President John Dramani Mahama and his campaign team, for a successful tour of the Volta region.
The Regional Secretariat prior to the arrival of the former President, on a six-day tour of the region, stated how expectant party members and other stakeholders were of him.
The former President, John Dramani Mahama arrived in the Volta region on Monday 28th, starting his campaign tour from Dzolokpuita, in the Ho West Constituency, which ended in the North Tongu Constituency on the evening of Saturday 2nd, February.
The Regional Secretary, Mr. James Gunu says the tour as has rejuvenated party folks and charged them ahead of the task of making sure the party wins the 2020 general elections.

EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE
On behalf of the Regional Chairman and the Regional Executive Committee, I wish to express our profound gratitude to H.E John Dramani Mahama and his campaign team for a successful tour of the Volta region.
Special thanks go to our gallant traditional authorities, Muslim leaders, the Clergy, security officers and the media.
We are also grateful to our former and current Members of Parliament, Regional Council of Elders, Ex-ministers, Ambassadors and High Commissioners, Staffers, MDCEs and everyone for the various roles played to make the program a success.
It’s obvious that President Mahama’s tour has been successful because of the fullest participation of the grassroots, branch, constituency and regional executives.
The Former President’s six-day tour of the region have rejuvenated the party’s grassroots towards the February 23, Presidential Primaries.
It is our hope that, the unity and revival brought by the visit is sustained and enhanced as we prepare towards winning election 2020.
