The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced a temporary closure of the VVIP Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
The closure takes effect on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 and will last for two weeks.
This was contained in a statement dated Monday, January 30, 2023.
The Ministry said the aim of this new directive is to enable the restructuring of the lounge for efficient travel and to meet international standards.
“While expressing apologies for any inconvenience the closure might cause, the Ministry encourages users of the lounge to patronize the Commercial Important Person (CIP) lounge and the Business Lounge at Terminal 3,” it said.
