V/R: John Gatsi Foundation’s 10th Educational Award opens

The John Gatsi Educational Foundation has opened for registration into its Competitive Examination for the 10th Educational Awards.

The award scheme was established by educationist, Prof. John Gatsi to help motivate students in the Ketu North District in the Volta Region of Ghana.

[ads]In a statement signed by the Programmes Coordinator, Prince Bright Attatsi on behalf of the founder, Prof. Gatsi, the 2018 award scheme has opened for Overall Best Female student, Students who scored 50% and above in each of the three subjects, Best student in Science, Best student in Mathematics, Best English Language and Best essay/ Composition categories.

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 10TH JOHN GATSI EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION

It is hereby announced to the general public that the 10th JOHN GATSI EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION will take place on Friday 2nd November, 2018 and the foundation is by this notice inviting all eligible applicants to register for the exam.

VENUE: Weta Basic School.

TIME: 8:30AM GMT

IT IS FREE.

Registration

All interested students are to submit their details (Full name, School, applicant`s
Location, Age, Contact details) on or before 24th October 2018. This should be submitted to
contact.jgef@gmail.com with the caption “10th Competitive Examination”.

The following categories of award will be presented during the awards day;
a. Overall Best student
b. Overall Best Female student
c. Students who scored 50% and above in each of the three subjects
d. Best student in Science
e. Best student in Mathematics
f. Best English Language
g. Best essay/ Composition

Note:

The three (3) subjects are Mathematics, Integrated Science and English Language.
The Foundation will also award the Best Teacher in Ketu North Municipality to be selected from three nominees by the Municipal Director of Education from which the Foundation will select the Best.
We are by this letter inviting five (5) students from each JHS to participate.
