She recounted that, at one point, after a 3-day disappearance, Esther Mawufemor had to call on her biological mother, who lives in Kade in the Eastern region to plead on her behalf, to be accepted back home by her (Madam Arku). She revealed that, upon interrogation, she admitted having been lodging with a boyfriend that is still unknown.

“I don’t really think she was kidnapped. Before she finally left home, she did that a couple of times and had to call her mum at a point in time to plead with me to accept her back”, she said.

“She confessed to the mother that she lodged with her boyfriend, when she left home for 3-days at the time. I’ve duly provided the police with this information. The only problem is I don’t really know who this supposed boyfriend is”, she concluded.
