The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (EPCG), has set the month of November to mourn their late General Assembly Moderator, Rt. Rev. Seth Senyo Agidi who passed on some few weeks ago.

The Acting General Assembly Moderator Rev. Emmanuel Elisha Attu in an announcement earlier this morning, directed members of the church to use the month of November’s Sunday’ services to mourn the late Moderator.

In the Ag. Moderator’s directives, he stated that, all EPCG flags at the church’s institutions: Churches, schools, hotels, hospitals and others are to fly half mast throughout the period to signify a sign of sorrow.

All members are to dress in black or red attires during church services in the month of November and also to observe minutes of silence and pray for the church at every Sunday service to seek God’s guidance and protection for the church and its leaders.

The late Rt. Rev. S.S. Agidi was the 13th Shepherd and the second moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana before his demise on October 10th, 2020 at the Ho Teaching Hospital.

Rev. Agidi was an advocate for the aged in the society and founder of Shepherd Centre for the aged, where the aged are cared for in various communities in the country.

He also served as the interchurch and ecumenical director before he was inducted into office as the moderator of General Assembly in the year 2015.

The date for burial is yet to be announced.
