Ursula Owusu, Kate Gyamfuaa, others share food to 1000 households.

Ghana’s Minister of Communications and the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West constituency, Mrs. Ursula Owusu Ekuful in partnership with the Ruling New Patriotic Party’s Women’s Organiser, Kate Gyamfuaa have distributed free meals to over 1000 households in deprived areas in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Region amidst the COVID 19 outbreak in Ghana.

The duo who were supported by other people admitted the hardship the partial lockdown has brought on Ghanaian thus saw the need to distribute “food packages and hot meals” to the poor to minimize their vulnerability.

The Greater Accra Region saw 600 households from Mamobi, Newtown, Nima, Bukom, Jamestown, Chorkor, Chemuna, Ashaiaman, Fadaama (National Chief Imam) being served.

Four hundred households in Ejisu Krapa, Asokore,Sawaba, Sissala line, Nima, Tafo, Aboabo, New Zongo, Yalwa(Subin), Dagomba line, Ayigya Zongo, Ahwiaa/Albarka from the Ashanti Region were also served.
