The Lead Counsel for the 2020 general election petitioner, lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata has told the Supreme Court judges today that for they have sown wind and shall reap whirlwind.
In closing argument on his application for review of the Supreme court ruling against his initial application to reopen his case went biblical by quoting the book of Hosea.
In all the arguments put forth by the lawyer he averted the mind of the court to Hosea 8:7 “for they have sown the wind and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up”. In essence this scripture seeks to imply what you sow is what you reap. This quotation left court in silence for some time as he argued further.
Before ending his submission and quoting Hosea he also quoted Revelation 2:29 which says “whoever has ears, let them hear what the spirit says to the churches”. This quotation left many Ghanaians glued to their radios and televisions listening and watching him as he displayed dexterity in his augrments.
Tsatsu Tsikata who today had a battle of a debate with the Supreme court Justices today, was also asked if he knew all the reasons why they reached the conclusions of not granting him his application for reopen case ? And he replied “i am not a diviner to know what else you were thinking apart from what you have put on paper”.
The court is gone on recession pending a ruling on the application of review for reopen of case that was not granted previously.
