Dear Brother in the fight for Binduri,

Senco Homes

Our elders say, if the vulture fails to hover at the end of the sacrifice, then you know that something happened in the land of the spirits. Only a fool will test the depth of a river with both feet. There are always two sides of a story.

I do not know which stinks more. Billy the goat or your ignorance of the Districts Health Ranking that got released a few days ago? Binduri placed 13 out of 15.

Clearly, more needs to be done on health in Binduri but how you single out the DCE to heap blame and wash your dirty linen in public beats the imagination of health experts. They do not understand how you arrived at the conclusion that the DCE is to blame.

Be careful my brother your envy of Hon Ayinga Abagre Yakubu is reaching self-destruction levels.

My grandmother once said When the baby grows, the crying changes. The self-styled mouthpiece of the Binduri gods has been contracted to bring nemesis upon our DCE.

Dear brother, a man seeking to embark on your kind of quest must first dig two graves.

The gods are not to blame for your ignorance and stupidity. Here is some education;

*HEALTH FINANCING*;

The District Health Directorate (DHD) is an autonomous body in terms of funding and management of funds within its jurisdiction. It is the coordinating body for all the health units within Binduri District. Our District currently has 16 CHPS Centers (with structures) , 3 Health Centers and 1 Clinic. Binduri District was the first in Upper East Region to implement the holistic “CHPS operational policy 2005 “when the directive came in 2017.

All these health facilities have independent bank accounts managed by facility’s “Incharges” and supervised by the *District Health Director* and *District Health Accountant* who are co-signatories to the bank accounts. These facilities depends solely on reimbursement of claims from NHIS and their IGF (moneys paid by clients who are uninsured ) in financing their activities. A boost to their funding could probably be from NGOs.

Even before I go further, I hope you begin to realize the level of your foolery when you said the DCE *“failed to address the health disparities in allocating resources to increase health financing…”*.

Some reports are better left with the health experts to study and comment on. However attention seeking riffs-raffs like you will not stay clear.

You and your circumcised rats have developed a new taste of blaming the DCE for everything including your early morning erectile dysfunctions. if DCE dances in water, you and the jollof MP will accuse him of causing dust.

I know you’re on your attention seeking antics as usual but I proceed with my explanation for those who genuinely seek a better understanding of our health situation in Binduri and how it’s silly for you to politicize it and blame it on one person.

The DHD has further divided the entire District into sub-districts namely;

1. Binduri central subdistrict

2. Atuba -Nafkolga subdistrict

3. Aniisi-Kukparigu subdistrict

4. Zawse-Banse subdistrict

5. Goore-Manga subdistrict

6. Bazua subdistrict

All the subdistricts have both structured chps and heath Centres and satellites chps zones .

I will focus on maternal services which you exhibited so much ignorance in your senseless accusations of our DCE

Binduri has 6 maternity units:

1. Binduri HC maternity

2. Bazua HC maternity

3. Manga Chps maternity

4. Goore clinic maternity

5. Zawse HC maternity

6. Bansi HC maternity,

The Maternities of these six sub-districts are managed by ONLY Eight Midwives to a target population or expected pregnancies/ deliveries of 3072 (4% of the total population of 76000people).

*The Health Indicators*
(Regional Target Vs Binduri’s Score)

1.Family planning services
*(Reg 42 vs Bin 22.3)*%

2. Antenatal care services
*(Reg. 85 vs Bin. 52)*%

3. Skilled delivery services
*(Reg. 65 vs Bin. 34.6)*%

4. Institutional maternal mortality *(Reg. 125/100,000LB’s vs Bin. 0/100, 000LB’s)

A look at the data doesn’t suggest the gloomy picture you have painted and *ALL* these have *ABSOLUTELY NOTHING* to do with the DCE. Despite the fact that our health delivery services is woefully below the least targets set for each district by the Region, Binduri recorded *ZERO Maternal Mortality* in that same report. This is *Good News!*

*Skilled Delivery and Antenatal Care*:

Due to Binduri’s closed proximity to the Bawku Municipality and Garu that have improved health facilities than Binduri, some constituents would prefer to go those areas for ANC, deliveries and FP. Eg. A woman in labor at kukparigu will prefer to go to Garu QMC which is shorter than coming to Binduri HC.

*Family Planning (FP)*
The major challenge in Ghana is still illiteracy, religious beliefs and myths attached to Family Planning. The few women who wish to access family planning must hide from their husbands and all known relatives. This situation compels some women from Binduri to travel to other Districts for such services without risk of being seen.

What the Elder sees sitting, the Child cannot see even if he climbs the highest baoboa three at the centre of Binduri Market Saquare. Our fathers say, if the one talking has no sense, the one listening has.

Why do you hate your Senior brother the much so much? Or has the jollof MP pushed you out to ridicule yourself once more? Why didn’t he tell you that you can’t call a dog a bad name just because you want to hang it?

Or your venerable self, General Manager of Agricult Ghana with an Official Car and Private Bodyguard could not read the Health Ranking Report? You have become a mockery of your real self these days and the gods of Binduri are not to blame.

Dauda my brother, you make so many references to yourself as a lion. The Yorubas say It’s not changing into a lion that is hard; its getting the tail of a lion. A roaring lion kills go game; it dies of hunger eventually. Real lions hunt on the ground. That’s what DCE is doing whiles your roar from the jollof MP’s pocket.

Sometimes you speak as if you have frozen brains. The 8 boreholes are beyond the MP’s threshold to execute unilaterally. He has a PhD, this is easy for him to understand. He should submit himself to the due process and do the needful.

It’s a pitty that the jollof MP didn’t tell you DCE approved funds for him to buy the COVID-19 PPEs and you’re still here ranting clulessly about it.

The Jollof MP is a crook. He took back 70% of his COVID-19 donation to the District Health Directorate to be distributed by his team? What kind of diabolism is this? The same MP is on record to have said that the PPES he donated was from his pocket and that when the DCE approves funds he will bring more.

Its been two weeks already and no sign of additional PPEs from the MP. You and your boss will not chop this money. It will choke your throats.

A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent. Hon Ayinga Abagre Yakubu is a true leader. You’re an immature, thankless souls trained to lie without conscience. If you say your attempt to swindle GHC 500 from the “brilliant but needy” stipends of the MP common fund and your unsigned application letter are untrue, why don’t you produce the copy of the original letter you wrote and signed when you applied for the financial support?

Your reputation as a dishonest liar precedes you and dates back to your days at Kumasi Poly. I will reserve the tale of how you squandered money meant for one Alale in your days at Kumasi Poly. A calf doesn’t laugh at a hornless cow.

I thought you would have realised your real size when you obtained only 2 votes at your Contest to Lead the Upper East youth front of the NDC.

Ask Mahama Ayariga if he acts ignorantly as Kuganaab-Lem. Hon Ayariga is an experienced Member of Parliament who understands due process. Unlike your clueless jollof MP who included names of 13 students who completed school before 23rd December 2019, which was the date He officially wrote to the DCE with a list of beneficiaries seeking approval.

Do you think Hon Mahama would have acted shambolic and fraudulently like Kuganaablem, or do you suggest that Hon Madam Hawa Ninchema will not be as firm and follow due process as is required of her just like Hon Ayinga Yakubu is doing? Calm down my brother; No matter how hot your anger is it cannot cook yams.

Rain beats the leopard’s skin but it does not wash out the spots.
