Kwame Agbodza, the Minority Chief Whip and Adaklu Member of Parliament has issued a warning to those planning to rig the December 7, 2024 general elections.
According to the MP, the people of the Volta region will not cause any confusion because of the election, but if somebody dares to make trouble, they will assist them in finishing it by responding in a very brutal manner.
“Volta Region is ready to protect the ballot, Volta Region will not be a crime scene. You can change the security chiefs, and make yourself the IGP or army commander, if you step foot in the Volta Region and attempt to rig the elections by hurting anyone, I will not tell you what to do, but write your will down before you come here. We shall not start any fight because of election, but if anybody starts a fight, we shall complete it,”.
He was addressing NDC members in South Tongu during flagbearer John Mahama’s visit to the area. The MP stressed that the people of the Volta Region are prepared to safeguard the ballot during the upcoming general elections.
