The Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe says the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is planning to file a petition and injustice against their declared Member of Parliament elect, Mr. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah.

According to Mr. Kwame Baffoe, “Today, 2nd of January 2021, the NDC had a meeting at Tigo House located at Sunyani in the Bono Region. The meeting saw in attendance the rank and file of the regional, constituency and branch hierarchy of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). At the meeting, they concluded that, on Monday, 4th January 2021, the NDC legal team will file a petition and an ex parte injunction against the MP-elect for Techiman south Hon Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah in order to retrain the MP-elect from being sworn into parliament come January 7th 2021.”

He alleged that “At the meeting, the NDC Legal team asserted that, they been able to lobby a High Court judge [Name withheld ] in the Bono region who is willing to grant their ex parte injunction against Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah to prevent him from being sworn in as a legitimate member of parliament.”

But the NPP Chairman who is part of chorus singers, Go To Court, Go To Court said “Let the NDC and the High court judge who has been lobbied know clearly that, we are close marking them and also keeping a keen eye on them.”

“We are monitoring their activities with an eagle lense and will expose all their diabolic plans in due course.
Let me also add that, from Monday 4th Jan 2021, I Kwame Baffoe Abronye will join well meaning Ghanaians to storm all High Courts within the Bono Region to monitor all proceedings with a keen eye.” – He cries.

If readers can recall, the Techiman South Constituency election is one of the disputed seats where the NPP and NDC are claiming to have won with the NDC doing an open collation of the pinks sheets whiles the NPP is yet to collate its figures.
