The Disciplinary Committee of the Akrofuom District Education Directorate has summoned Michael Owusu Afriyie, known popularly as Teacher Kwadwo for what they describe as “professional misconducts”.
An invitation letter sighted by Awake News indicates that Teacher Kwadwo is to appear before the Disciplinary Committee on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Akrofuom District Assembly Hall at 10am.
Teacher Kwadwo has been on an impressive ‘one-man’ campaign to right the wrongs of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in order to improve upon the current standard of education in the country.
Teacher Kwadwo has dubbed the campaign #FIXGES and has granted several interviews where he has spoken about the challenges teachers (especially those in the rural areas) face as well as the maltreatment being meted out to such teachers by the GES.
