Press Statement From Friends Of Addai Nimo (FOAN) Across Ghana.

We the friends of Addai Nimo hereto referred to as FOAN have steadily observed rather disturbingly a calculated attempt by the constituency Chairman of Asante Mampong, Luther Asare to denigrate and malign a former member of Parliament who served his people with distinction and who at one time was a Flag bearer Hopeful, and wish to register our indignation.

We have taken note of how he has deliberately vowed to create disaffection for him in the eyes of hardworking party faithful. These have been followed by a number of secret meetings to plot this agenda and we are aware of them.

We are by this release sending this strong caution to the chairman and his allies to desist from further dividing the rank and file of the NPP.

We also observed in his statement the assertion that he has in his possession recordings of Hon Addai Nimo canvassing and campaign activities. We find this move unethical and a demonstration of bad faith that should not exist among members of our party.

We urge that the party’s motto; “Development in Freedom” be a guide in the exercise of our freedom whilst pursing development.

FOAN is by this statement urging the chairman to use his position to promote love, unity and all virtues that will co- exist among members of the party in the constituency as we move towards the 2020 elections.

Signed
