St. Augustine’s College honours Sammi Awuku, Hackman

In a grand ceremony, the past students of St. Augustine’s College (APSU National) gathered to celebrate the school’s legacy and honour its distinguished sons and heroes.

The event, which was part of the school’s 90th Anniversary celebration, was initially postponed due to COVID-19 but finally took place, drawing dignitaries from various fields.

The prestigious banquet and awards dinner recognized the contributions of esteemed personalities, including Sammi Awuku, Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, and Hackman Owusu Agyemang.

Awuku, a proud alumnus of St. Augustine’s College, has had a remarkable career, spanning over 17 years of dedication to public policy, reform advocacy, and youth initiatives in Ghana and globally.

Other notable awardees included Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, Prof Kofi Abotsi, Prof. Clifford Tagoe, Lawyer Charles Zwennes, and Amb. Karbala Blay Amihere.

The event was a testament to the school’s legacy in producing outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to various fields.
