The President of Giving Hope Foundation (GHF), Ms Mary Tetteh Ansomah has charged all members of the foundation to render their services in their little way to the communities they found themselves.
Awake News’ Kofi Tamakloe caught up with her in a classroom teaching students of Pai-Katanga R. C. Junior High School in the Krachi East Municipality of the Volta Region.
In a bid to find out what was going on, she explained that Giving hope foundation has volunteerism as one of its hall mark and as the head of the foundation, she has to give a good example. Hence, the need for the classes.
I just taught it wise to help the JHS three pupils as they are in their final year and preparing for their final exam. All their teachers are gone for vacation. Giving Hope Foundation believes in volunteerism and as the head of affairs, I have to start for others see and follow.
The vacation class started is set to last for three weeks and goes on everyday. It lasts for three hours and its done from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the morning session and from 7:00pm to 10:00pm in the evening session. She engages the pupils in Mathematics and Integrated Science lessons.
The teacher trainee and a writer call on all who are interested in rendering help to the less privilege to join hands with the foundation. Thus she encouraged all members to reveal their identity as ambassadors of GHF by offering their support to the less privilege around them.
Since the society needs our help and I have started in my own little way, I entreat all ambassadors of GHF to do same in their various communities. They (members) should figure out needed children and adults alike and help them in their own little way. They offer free vacation classes for school pupils, offer gifts among other things. If their financial source is not sound, they can also organise seminar for the youths to educate them as demanded by the foundation.
Giving Hope Foundation (GHF) is a charity foundation which started in October 2018. It is yet to register with the registrar and its open to all who wish to inspire the dejected towards global development by; supporting the needy through monthly contribution made by members; teaching about God/Moral talk; donations to hospital, orphanage homes and prisons; promoting health education; volunteerism support and promoting career opportunities through seminals in school and community.
I want to use this platform to call on the media, the celebrities, workers, stakeholders and other benevolent organisations to join hands with Giving Hope Foundation (GHF) as we inspire the dejected towards global development. Ms Mary Tetteh Ansomah emphasized.
