On Monday, August 16, 2021, a video of a Priest implanting ‘holy kisses’ on the lips of three students of the St. Monica’s Training College went viral on social media.
Information reaching Awake News indicates that, the priest, known as Rev. Fr Baltharzar Obeng Larbi (Father Ricky) is a commercial lawyer and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. More so, Father Ricky is the legal counsel for GES- Ashanti Region and a member of the Disciplinary Committee of GES.
Reports say, the ‘holy kissing’ incident which took place on Sunday, August 15, 2021 was the Father’s means of ‘honoring’ the students for excelling.
There have been mixed reactions to the ‘holy kiss’. Some people believe that the ladies are matured enough to understand the implications of their actions while others criticized the Priest for ‘defiling God’s altar’.
