The Senco Group of Companies has sponsored the just GaDangme Youth Empowerment Summit 2024 held yesterday, January 13, 2024 at the Mission Africa Hall, Spintex Road, Accra.
On the theme, “Re-strategizing poverty and unemployment alleviation for a secured future” brought together twelve (12) speakers with diverse backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, clergy, finance, business, media, and traditional leaders, to interact with the youth to empower them.
Some of the speakers are Dr. Joseph Gerald Tetteh Nyanyofio, a Senior Lecturer at UPSA; Apostle Abraham Nii Lamptey, Founder and General Overseer of Believers House of Worship International; and Dr. Kodjoe Sumney, the Founder and President of Mission Africa Incorporated, USA; media personality Akumaa Mama Zimbi.
The event which was organized by the Mission Africa Incorporated in collaboration with the Ga-Dangme Chamber of Commerce aimed at empowering the Ga-Dangme youth and help whip up their interest in participating in the various sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
Speaking at the event, the Group CEO said apart of their financial support for the event this year, the company will supporting the Mission Africa by mentoring five (5) young entrepreneur from the GaDangme land and also build a database to support its quest of building a comprehensive platform for the Ga-Dangme youth.
Senco Health Centre Ltd – a member of the Senco Group also provided free medical screening for all participants.
He added that the Senco is committed at support the future GaDangme Youth Empowerment Summits as the company shares in the vision of the organized.
