Samuel B.K. Nugblega secures 84 delegates, submits Akatsi South’s NDC parliamentary form

Mr. Benedict Samuel Nugblega, the Director of Human Resources at the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), has submitted his expression of interest and nomination form to represent the good people of Akatsi South on the tickets of the opposition National Democratic Congress if given the nod to lead the party into the crucial 2024 election on May 13th this year.

Mr. Samuel Nugblega, a senior technical officer and entrepreneur turned politician, submitted his forms at the Akatsi South NDC party office, which were received by the constituency election committee of the main opposition party.

While speaking to the media at the party’s office, Samuel Nugblega, who holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, said, “I believe that it is time the delegates and the grassroots regained control of the affairs of the party and fixed the division and disunity among the party’s rank and file that has become an everyday problem for the party in the constituency by electing a unifier like me.”

“The insecurity, lack of employment, poor local economy, and underdevelopment that have characterized the party and the constituency are due to a lack of proper leadership, which my election will cure in less than 200 days in office,” Mr. Nugblega said.

He further reiterated: “It is indeed a great call and an honor to offer myself for service as I look forward to restoring the definition of quality representation that has long evaded the Akatsi South NDC and the entire constituency.”

“I decided to heed the yearnings of my people for the valid delivery of their mandate because we are facing leadership crises as a party and as a constituency,” he added.

It was earlier reported that as a precondition for submitting their expression of interest and nomination forms, the opposition party had mandated its parliamentary aspirants to submit the forms with the signatures of 1 statutory delegate from each branch.

Other party delegates, okada Riders, and party faithful around the area who had heard about the development also thronged the party office to show solidarity and support for what they deemed as the new dawn in the party’s history in the Constituency.

Mr. Benedict Samuel Nugblega was reportedly the second to submit his GH40000.00 party nomination form among the 3 aspirants on the platform of the NDC in the Akatsi South.
