The Member of Parliament for Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Constituency, Hon. Samuel Atta Mills, has donated GH₵10,000 to the KEEA Municipal Education Directorate.
According to the MP, education is the backbone of every country hence the need to pump life into it.
This donation is aimed at aiding the directorate in organizing this year’s mock examinations for all BECE candidates in the municipality.
Speaking to the NDC Communication officer KEEA, Mr Adoko Obed, he said Mr Atta Mills places great importance on education, believing it to be the bedrock of every society. He added that apart from the recent financial support, the MP also donated essential items needed for the operation of the educational directorate in the Constituency.
These include a multi-purpose printer, an air-conditioner, a laptop computer and other office equipment to aid in their administrative work.
He stressed that this timely intervention underscores Mr Atta Mills’ commitment to prioritizing education in the municipality.
The authorities of the Educational directorate lavished praises on Samuel Atta Mills for his continuous support and dedication to enhancing education in KEEA.
