The Chief Executive Officer of IMANI Center for Policy Education, Franklin Cudjoe, has cautioned the campaign manager for the New patriotic party, Mac Manu to be meticulous not to mar the prowess of the NPP to carry out basic calculations with the Electoral Commission immense brazenly impaired inefficacy to count.
According to him, the electoral commission possessed continual incapability of producing correct results.
In a Facebook post sighted by Awake News, he said; “I really like Mr. Peter Mac Manu..but he should be careful not to taint the ability of the NPP to do basic math with the EC’s long held precociously debilitating inability to do math”.
This follows Peter Mac Manu’s statement that per all the pink sheets available to the party, the NPP secured 49,682 votes whiles the NDC polled 49,205 votes signifying the Npp won Techiman south seat with 477 votes and so declared by the EC.
In the same tendency, the NDC during a press conference also stated that its parliamentary candidate, Christopher Beyere, won the Techiman South seat by 293 votes. The leadership of the NDC remarked that, the incumbent government and the Jean Mensa-led EC is working to deny the NDC a parliamentary majority.
The NPP campaign manager further served notice that the party will challenge a number of parliamentary seats declared in favour of the opposition NDC.
Mr. Cudjoe stressed that the EC’s inaccurate mode influenced the government to purchase the biometric systems.
” This EC was caught way back in June 2020, rigging procurement process by telling us 85+13=103 instead of 98. That fraudulent process led to the purchase of needless and useless biometric systems having invested $60m in perfectly working old systems”, he stated.
It is about time the NPP revises its unalloyed association with the very discredited EC, Franklin Cudjoe said.
