Reggae musician Iwan enstooled Oblahiaa Mantse

Ghanaian Reggae cum Dancehall artiste Abdul – Razak Issahaku, popularly known as Iwan has been Enstooled as the “Rasta Youth” Chief in Accra last weekend at the Sowutuom Chief Palace.

He made the announcement on his social media platform as the “Oblahiaa Mantse” which literally means the ‘Youth King’ of the Rastas.

His new title name is Nii Sarban Otsom3 Mpese of the Mpese Royal Stool.

The Lyrical Gunshot as most of his fans call him stated his readiness to develop and transform the Mpese ‘Rasta Youths’.

He emphasized that through collaborating and support of the chiefs, the government and other stakeholders who are ready to champion the cause of Mpese in terms of the “Mpese ‘Rasta’ Youth Developments in all aspects of unification and centralization, Repatriation (The Diaspora Homecoming)”.

He expressed how humbled he is by the honour done him and ready to bring his knowledge and experience to aid development and prosperity of the Mpese Royal Family.

Iwan was the first to win ‘Reggae Song of the Year’ at the 2011 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

He released smashing hits like ‘Thanks and Praise’, ‘Miss You’, Who’s Bad, Jah Jah is Calling, among others.
