Real Madrid has plans to complete and unveil France forward Kylian Mbappé before the Euros 2024 in Germany. The European Championship will start on June 14 and end on July 14, 2024.
Kylian Mbappe already said his final goodbye to his teammates at PSG and the club has accepted that they will lose their most prized man.
After scooping the Best Men’s Player award at the Globe Soccer Awards Europe Edition, Mbappe spoke to the media about his situation.
“I want to be happy. I will leave my country for the first time. It’s going to be an amazing experience and I can’t wait to be in my new club. I want to win trophies. When you speak about football, [it’s about] winning trophies, being with new team-mates. Now, I have my contract with PSG. Everybody knows that it’s soon finishing and we’re going to see what happens,” he told CNN.
“Now, I have my contract with PSG … Everybody knows that it’s soon finishing and we’re going to see what happens,” Kylian Mbappe added.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano said the running contract would not be an issue. He said, Real Madrid’s “final plan to formally complete and announce Kylian Mbappé deal before the Euros won’t be and can’t be limited by PSG. Despite PSG contract expiring in June, Mbappé can be announced before Euro 2024.”
But before Mbappe is announced, Real Madrid have their focus on extending their dominance in the Champions League when they take to the field against Borrusia Dortmund on Saturday. Their focus will switch to the French superstar only having their trip to Wembley.
