RE : SUHUM MP ELECTORAL AREA TOUR TURNS BLOW – CALLING COMMUNITIES AS VILLAGERS

Frederick Opare-Ansah, MP for Suhum

It is very disheartening and sardonic that persons claiming to be literates will spew falsehood about a person who is representing the constituency at the legislature. We have been notified with a secular making waves on social media, purporting to dent the hard-earned image of the Hon Member of Parliament. It’s about time we set records [ads1]straight and call a spade a spade. It’s not for any apparent or obvious reason that this first Gentleman of the Suhum land in the person of Frederick Opare Ansa has won the seat for four consecutive times.

Samuel Baah popularly known as Gosh in the cycle of his friends working as a Media Aid to the MCE is only orchestrating this agenda for their parochial interest and that of their paymaster. I want to state emphatically that this write up is nothing near the truth and should be treated with the greatest of contempt.

What really happened at the meeting that ensued between the Hon. MP and that of the delegates of Asafohene Atiemo had nothing to do with the mentioning of Okorase lest to talk of describing them as villagers. Issues raised at the said meeting bothered on issues affecting their electoral area and not that of Okorase.

One Agyei Emma who happens to be the Chairman of Kofigya Polling station is the one who was said to have relayed such information to the delegates of Okorase of which he has come to refute all allegations levelled against him by one Cudjoe the Polling station Chairman of Okorase. He has said that he never saw that Cudjoe lest to have discussed anything of that sort.

We’ve realised that Cudjoe who happens to be the Polling station Chairman of Okorase is only trying to tarnish the image of the Hon. Member of Parliament to make the delegates solidarise with his brother who will be contesting for the MP primaries when nominations are opened.
The Hon. MP believes in democracy since he’s an astute, ardent and paragon propeller of such. He can never prevent one from contesting him since that’s the only way to satisfy the likes of the delegates.

Let’s issue a caution to all especially borrowing the words of the Hon. MP that, after primaries, we need to market a candidate for the General elections so all aspersions, insinuations and castigations against contenders should be halted since it can go a long way to affect us.

The Hon Member only threatened a law suit because the Chairman of the Polling station had organized the constituents of Okorase and spew falsehood about words he never uttered. He wants to do so to ascertain the truth so that sleeping dogs can lie.

I don’t know for any reason why some unscrupulous persons would want to orchestrate and perpetrate such falsehood. We would want to state emphatically and without any shred, epitome, modicum or iota of doubt that we should be very circumspect and decorous with what we say about others since one wouldn’t be pleased if such is meted to them.

The Media Aide to the MCE is only parading this falsity to dent the hard earned image and reputation of the hardworking MP.

That write up should be treated with the greatest of disdain since it’s maliciously intended and fruitless. We are of the greatest of conviction that the good constituents are discerning and would invariably weigh the pros and cons of such write and match it up with the personality of our Hon. MP. Each will adduce that he is way beyond such propaganda.

Thank you.
