The Management of XYZ Broadcasting Limited is demanding the arrest of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah for threatening to kill one of the station’ show host.
The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Chapel, according to management stormed the premises of Radio XYZ Friday with armed men in an attempt to attack host of ‘Inside Politics’, Salifu Mugabe Maase.
Information available indicates that the controversial Prophet, went to present himself to Mugabe following comments by the latter that he was going to sack him (Rev. Bempah) from Ghana.
A statement from the XYZ Management suggest the Pastor who is an astute supporter of President Akufo-Addo verbally abused former President Mahama and staff of Radio XYZ.
“He threatened on top of his voice to end the life of Mugabe Maase. XYZ Broadcasting limited has officially reported the incident to the East Legon Police Command,” Management disclosed.
The statement adds, ”We unreservedly condemn this dastardly act by Prophet Owusu Bempah and trust that the security agencies shall deal with the matter expeditiously.”
