Former President and flag bearer of the leading opposition party (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has asked the Akufo-Addo led government to publish plans on how it intends to protect the economy in the wake of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
In a Facebook live monitored by Awake News on Monday 16 March 2020, Mr Mahama said the government had failed in addressing the impact of the deadly Corona virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic on the economy.
He accused the government of doing little to cushion the country from a plunge in the economy.
Mr Mahama further appealed to the government to release its plans on how it intends to keep the economy afloat.
His comment are coming in at the time that Ghana has announced six (6) confirmed Convid 19 cases.
