A member of the NDC National Communication Team, Elikem Kotoko has descended on Gabby Asare Othcere-Darko calling him a “religious liar” his [Gabby] claims that he has nothing doing with the PDS’s take over of the Electricity Company of Ghana and the scandal that engulfed the PDS-ECG concessionary deal.
Mr. Octchere-Darko in an interview with Paul Adom-Otchere on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana said he has no hand in the PDS-ECG concessionary deal that went bad leading to the suspension and cancelling of the deal by the government.
Mr. Elikem Kotoko in a post sighted by Awake News, however, said the former Danquah Institute Boss lied as leak audio featured in the Kevin Taylor latest “With All Due Respect” alleged that Mr. Otchere-Darko was “negotiating percentage shareholding of PDS with board Chairman Philip Ayensu.”
“Wherever or however Kevin managed to secure those audio conversations between Gabby and Philip Ayensu (and whichever others he has) should just send a single message to the NPP government that when you bend down to look under your neighbour, someone is looking at yours too…” – Mr. Kotoko said
Background
The government of Ghana announced the cancellation of the PDS concessionaire over what it describes as challenges with the financial guarantee provided for the deal.
The decision follows a meeting between Nana Bediatuo Asante, Secretary to President Akufo-Addo, and Ken Ofori-Atta, the finance minister on one hand, and Kyeh Kim, Principal Deputy Vice President of MCC, and Kenneth Miller, the Resident Country Director for Ghana of the MCC, on the other hand, held in Washington DC on Friday, October 18, 2019.
Critics have chastised the current administration for not acting in the best interest of Ghana in the negotiation, and signing of the power concession.
There have been reports that some ‘elements’ within Government were scheming to take over the management of Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) after the termination of the PDS deal.
But Information Minister, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah told journalists in Accra on Wednesday, October 23, that the Government of Ghana has never been negligent.
According to him, the Government of Ghana has at all times worked with Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in structuring this transaction in the best interest of Ghanaians.

GABBY OTCHERE-DARKO, A RELIGIOUS LIAR!
Just when the government you elected decides to use that power which you gave it to bully you by spying on you, etc, thru listening into your calls (tapping) or buying every data on you and in reference to your WhatsApp, Telegram conversations…
Unfortunately and erroneously, they have forgotten that if they have the power to do so, then someone or other institutions(or collaborators) also have same ability to listen in on them and equally get every record on them too
Here we are today, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko who vehemently denied any relationship, knowledge, interference or involvement in the dubious PDS fraud (for which the US govt through the MCC has cancelled the deal with Ghana) during an interview with one of their own hatchet-men, Paul Adom-otchere on Good Evening Ghana Official, MetroTv, was caught on tape negotiating percentage shareholding of PDS with board Chairman Philip Ayensu in an episode released by an outspoken Ghanaian journalist and staunch member of this NPP government, Kevin Ekow KevinTaylor thru his loud silence media platform titled “With All Due Respect”
Wherever or however Kevin managed to secure those audio conversations between Gabby and Philip Ayensu (and whichever others he has) should just send a single message to the NPP government that when you bend down to look under your neighbour, someone is looking at yours too…
Can we have that once loud self christened best lawyer, also suddenly silenced by same Kevin Taylor who went filing writs that meant no sense to a first year law student, A. K. Ankomah alert @GabbyDarko that the latter has been caught on tape and God willing, Ghanaians have been promised of more on the full conversation soon.
Govt taps our calls through overt and covert means using both internal and external forces forgetting they can also be compromised
God bless our homeland Ghana.
