Jack where are you?

JM and the NDC had a good plans for the nurses and the teacher trainees.

Due to the increasing number of the trainees which sometimes rerults in difficulty in getting clearance for their employment, the NDC government upon further deliberation decided to increase the enrollment and adopt the a system that will see the exportation of our teachers and nurses to UK, Kenya, Brazil, South Africa.

The vision of the NDC was to yearly double enrollment in all our nurses and teacher training colleges so that the surplus number each year will be exported as been done be Cuba.

Ghana did it before in the 80s under Rawlings when teachers were exported to Nigeria and most African countries and our country was earning foreign exchange on that.

It was for this reason the allowances were taken off and replaced with feeding grants to enable government double the intake so that at the end there will be ready employment for all after school both within and outside the country which wouldhave been facilitated by government.

NPP in the quest to win power deceived the students of restoring and paying their allowances for them without giving them the details of the restoration package.

As a major campaign promise, the students hailed the Npp and voted massively for them.

In February 2017 our vice President, infact our own GPS Bawumia announced of the restoration of the allowances but as part of the lying project of the NPP that presidential statement didnot take effect hence considered a pigery lie.

When later the launching was done in Sunyani, where almost 900,000 was spent on the cosmetic show of the launching, some of the nursing students were artificially given 400.00 which made them excited .

But the question is from the time that cosmetic payment was made, was there any payment made again?
The answer is No.

As for the teacher trainees they have still not been paid even a pessewa as an allowance since the so called restoration was launched.

And news reaching us is that the payment have been suspended indefinitely due to lack of funds. And payment wouldn’t be on a regular base but as and when they get funds that they will effect payment.

The worse part of this allowance deal is that students, both Nurses and teachers who takes the allowances wouldn’t be bonded for employment but rather look for their own jobs after National Service.

It is now the students are getting the facts and the details of the allowances deal but they have already signed their death warrant.

Now as the Health Minister and his deputy rightly said, government will no more be responsible for posting of teachers and nurses. This is an agenda to give 200.00 as allowance and later create massive unemployment in the country.

UK, Kenya, Brazil and China had already shown interest in our nurses and teachers and supply could have start as per the original plan in December next year.

Most of the students have already regretted voting for the Npp because they said the NPP never explained the full package of the so called Restoration.

Infact the trainees are angry and I know very soon they will explode.

The only thing one can hope for is 2020 so that the NDC can come and implement the exportation workers policy to give employment to all trainees.

The deceit and disappointment from the NPP can only reversed after 2020 when the NDC returns to power God willing.

That’s why we all need to come together to fight for the return of the NDC come 2020.

2020 is possible but it’s just a matter of time.
