Palitz still Kasapa Boss

Robert Palitz

The Registrar-General’s Department has waded into the controversy surrounding who the directors of Kasapa Telecom are. They further disclosed that, valid documents in their possession have Robert Norris Palitz, as the legitimate Managing Director of the telecom company.

The department described as “irregular”, all documents and media publications, which are alleged to be emanating from them and bearing the names of Kofi Kludjeson and K. Ogba as the respective Director and Secretary of Kasapa.

The Chief State Attorney, Jemma Oware, in a letter addressed to Mr. Palitz on behalf of the Ag. Registrar-General said the documents having the name of Mr. Kludjeson as the Director of Kasapa, were as a result of a sequence of irregular filings carried out by some officers of the Department and that the attention of Mr. Kludjeson has been brought to the supposed irregularity, especially when the Department has evidence that he, Kludjeson has long being removed as the Director of Kasapa.

It said the entire irregular documents will be expunged from the records of the department.

“We sincerely apologize for the damage we might have caused to you and your clients as a result of the irregular filings carried out by some of our officers inadvertently. We trust that such filings will not be repeated again.

“Unfortunately, request information from these irregular filings was given out in a search report by our officers, in response to a letter requesting us to acknowledge, who the current shareholders and Directors of the Company are.

This situation, lead Kludjeson International Limited to erroneously issue letters to the media, as being the sole Shareholder of Kasapa Telecom Limited.” The letter stated.

Explaining the irregularities, Mrs. Oware said the irregular forms did not have the receipt stamp, date and number of the Department and that the signatories to these documents were not known to the Department.
