According a statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Kwesi Ofori the Police guard is alleged to have recklessly driven Into a crowed after the Monday October 25, 2021 protest endangering the lives of two senior police officers and other civilians.

This is coming on the heel of reports of another attempt by the police to arrest the MP at church today for which through the intervention of his colleague MP, Muntaka Mubarak and youth present at the church he escaped again.

The Police service has however dismissed the reports that no police officer was dispatched to arrest the MP at the church but any officer that went there in plain cloth may have been there for intelligence purposes.
