Otumfuo Osei Tutu II , the overlord of the Ashantis, has refreshed the memory of President Akufo-Addo on a register of uncompleted projects his government inherited from his predecessor.
Otumfuo’s statement, through a representative at Trede, Ashanti Region, where President Akufo-Addo broke the ground to commence his government’s promise of building 111 hospitals across the country, he said, many Ghanaians have doubted the abilities of Nana Addo in fulfilling his promises because of evidences they can lay hands on.
Especially on social media, Otumfuo stated, Ghanaians incessantly express disappointment in the President for his failure in completing hospital projects he inherited from the John-Mahama-NDC government.
“On social media, President, a lot of the people say you cannot fulfill this Agenda 111 hospital project because of what they have seen around them. They say that, because to them, some hospital projects you inherited at Tepa, Afari, Konongo, Kumawu, Fomena which were at various stages of completion before you came into government, have been abandoned by your administration”.
“But, Otumfuo has confidence in you that you can fulfill your own promise of this Agenda 111. Do it to be your legacy when you are no more. Ghanaians have to remember you and they can do that if you able to leave a legacy while you’re in government”.
