Oti/R: Empower the youths towards nation building

The chief of Bowiri Kwamikrom, Nana Sike II has called on the government and all stakeholders to empower the youths towards nation building.

The new chief pointed out in an  exclusive interview with Kofi Tamakloe that nation building is a collective idea and the youths must be sensitize on their roles.

“The youths are the strength and they are tomorrow’s future, so I think by empowering the Ghanaian  youths to understand their roles in Nation building and supporting them, it would make them work hard and engage themselves in so many activities especially, agriculture that will bring development to the community and the nation at large. Ghanaian leaders should help and train the youths to work and join hands in matters affecting the state” He said.

This statement was apparently in reference to the recent unemployment canker that has made most of the Ghanaian graduates jobless. It is also to respond to the bid from the government concerning youths becoming entrepreneurs.

The young entrepreneur believes that organising programs in his community is the way forward. He therefore call on all his subordinates to rally their support and ideas for a better development.

“I will make sure I organized programs annually to entertain and also create awareness, to be able to raise funds to support the less privilege and also create jobs for the youths.

To the people of Kwamikrom, I plead that nation building is not a one person’s duty but the collective efforts of both the chief and the community so each and everyone should bring on board their ideas and strengths to build a better Kwamikrom.” He added.

Nana Sike II was installed as the new Chief of Bowiri Kwamikrom on the 19th of November, 2021.

Nana Sike II is the founder and CEO of Tech Electronics and Phone Accessories.

Nana Sike II is known in private life as Godwin Asamoah.
