The Member of Parliament for Nkwanta North, Hon John Oti Kwabena Bless has yesterday October 2, 2019, donated brand new HP laptops to the Ghana Health Service Personnel in the District.
At a purposeful meeting, the Administrator of the Nkwanta North District Health Directorate received the laptops on behalf of the Personnel. He used the occasion to thank the Member of Parliament for his continuous and spontaneous support towards the enhancement of health delivery. He also acknowledged the financial support they have received so far towards the ongoing theatre project and many others.
It will be recalled that the Member of Parliament in the pass, donated motor bikes to personnel of the Ghana Health Service in selected CHIPS Compounds to aid their movements towards health delivery in the District. Just last year, the MP committed an amount of hundred thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc100,000.00) towards the procurement of theatre equipments, including the solar systems he provided to some CHIPS compounds in the District.
The administrator finally remarked that, the MP’s achievements in the health sector, particularly in the Nkwanta North District, is remarkable. He then appealed to the legislator not to relent in his support, but to continue to support the sector to enable them deliver on their professional mandate.
In his short speech, the MP first and foremost thanked the administrator and the entire health personnel for accepting to be posted to the District. He was particular about the newly posted Medical Doctor and assured him of his unflinching support to enable him stay and work effectively to enhance the health conditions of the people in the District and beyond.
Hon. Bless however, congratulated all the health personnel for the wonderful services they have been providing to the good people of Nkwanta North, and urged them to exhibit professionalism in their reportage and eschew acts of indiscipline likely to bring the profession into disrepute.
He (MP) however assured them of his unflinching support within his ambit to enable them stay in the District and work professionally.
Finally, the MP was led by the administrator to inspect some key projects that are ongoing in the Kpassa health center.
