Dear Mr. NDC MP,
I watched Nana Addo’s state of the nations address yesterday which was normal of a bragger and a killer who refused to recognized the unprecedented killing of 8 people in the 2020 electoral process.
Honourable MP, a lot went into your election as Member of Parliament from Pusiga to Dambaye. People lost their lives and others still struggling and fighting for their lives. Others are now in wheelchairs with some also using crutches. Those who have lost their lives left families only God knows how they will survive all because they wanted a change for all Ghanaians.
Mr. Mp, in parliament yesterday the President didn’t acknowledge that something went wrong during the 2020 elections and even instructed his Deputy speaker to tell Ghanaians those killed are criminals and armed robbers. For the first time after the death of my mum, I wept upon hearing the deputy speaker who is paid with our taxes echoing the words of the President to Ghanaians.
Mr. Mp, after the uninspiring SONA on the same TV I saw you exchanging pleasantries, shaking hands, and hugging those killers who called those who sacrificed their lives for you criminals. I wept again Mr. Mp. We are not saying your friends should be your enemies but in the middle of this fight and the responsibilities you have accepted on your neck, they are our enemies and must be treated as such Hon.
Honourable Mp, these are the killers in suit ooo, these are people with smiling faces but wicked with their thoughts and you already showed yesterday on TV that you are at peace with them.
Mr. Mp, the grassroots that you call the powerhouse when you wanted the vote is disappointed and very sad because we are told actions speak louder than words but please we are pleading with you to prove us wrong.
Mr. MP proves us wrong by using your powers and everything you can to get us the speaker of parliament because we sacrificed our lives for you. The grassroots cannot come to the Parliament house so ours is just to pray for you. Please we need action to prove to us that those actions of yours yesterday were a strategy to get the job done.
Mr. Mp i heard one of your colleagues said some of the things we are asking for are unparliamentary but we don’t care, all we need is from you to get us the speaker of the house no matter what it will take if not we will be very much disappointed in you and your colleagues.
Don’t tell us about rule of law because that does not exist in Ghana today all we need today and tomorrow is results.
We actually worked for you and it is now your turn to sacrifice everything to make this demand from the grassroots a reality.
Mr. MP remembers you last told me everything in politics is possible if only you want to do it.. It is now time to prove that to us Hon.
Yours under the Umbrella,
Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo
