The Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa, Sulemana Brimah supported the arguments of the NPP in an interview with Accra Based Radio Station, speculated that government 1 is former president John Dramani Mahama, but Mr. Ablakwa says these speculations are frivolous.

” …Am totally disappointed,….. all that Sulemana has done is to engage in speculation, conjuncture, hypnotism, guesswork, postulation gamble, Suspicious and presumption, that is all he has done….”, he said.

He said such proclamation can lead to a possible suit from the former president.

” Look Mr. Mahama is a citizen like all of us and he can decide to take serious action, serious legal action against what Mr. Brimah has done”, he said.

Mr. Okudzeto hinted if a possible response from Mr. Dramani Mahama in the coming days, but asked that all be measured in their speech and alleging he is government official one.

” His Excellency former president I know will speak at a point on this matter but we should be extremely careful to respect his right and desist from this wild vertebrates, ” he said.

The president in the wake of the Airbus judgement by a crown UK court directed the SP to investigate who the alleged government officials named in the court’s judgement.

On January 31, 2020, Ghana was named as one of five countries in which the plane maker, Airbus, paid or attempted to pay millions of dollars in bribes in exchange for contracts, leading a court in Britain to slap a fine of £3.9 billion on the company.

Court documents and hearings in the United Kingdom alleged that contrary to section 7 of the UK’s Bribery Act 2010, Airbus failed to prevent persons associated with it from engaging in bribery.

Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa noted the investigation is still ongoing into the allegations and advised all to be guided by that.
