Mr. Samuel Nugblega, a Parliamentary aspirant in the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Akatsi South Constituency, joined hundreds of graduates and fashion designers across the Akatsi South constituency to donate a cash amount of GH1500.00 to support the development of the association.
This offer is expected to reduce the economic burden of procuring a resource center to aid in their services.
This is part of a series of such donations by the Parliamentary candidate hopeful from his personal coffers.
Addressing the union after the donation, he urged them to be united, as he has listened to their concerns and will work on them appropriately if given the chance to lead the opposition NDC in the Akatsi South Constituency.
Mr. Nugblega said the contribution of fashion designers in the municipality to job creation cannot be overemphasized, and supporting them financially and providing their arsenals will create more opportunity for young people.
He regrettably said, “some have passed out and starting up capitals becomes a challenge to them,” and he will sure bring on board non-governmental organizations to help in resource allocation for the association if the party gives him the nod to lead.
He urged everyone to pray for him to succeed in the May 13 election, as he remains the only tool for the development of Akatsi South.
Speaking to residents, the chairman of the association thanked the MP hopeful for the donation and promised to use the money for the stated purpose.
