Between the two, Nana B appears to be enjoying a superior media attention for obvious reasons: he is the guy with more resources. He has social media, he has mainstream media and has the fine girls too.
[ads1]As Dominic Eduah said though, THE JOB DEY GROUND. Dominic Eduah’s slogan should be the ideal basis for voting but you see, delegates see such elections as an opportunity to milk some money from the candidates. The highest bidder gets the most attention. On a few occasions though, the highest bidder loses and I sincerely hope this is the cases in this instance.
My reason
When the NPP won power in 2016, President Akuffo wanted to position some of the youths who supported him in strategic positions.
Nana enquired of Nana B and he made his picks. Eventually, he was given the Deputy National Coordinator of Ghana National Service.
When Dominic Eduah who served as Youth Organiser when Sammy Awuku moved to act as National Organiser was approached, he told Nana Addo that he didn’t want any position and that he wants to work for the party.
In view of this, if it is now time for people to be elected to serve the party, then the guy who declined the juicy offer to work in the government so that he can serve the party should naturally be backed.
It’d not be right for Nana B to go and make money in the government and use that to beat Dominic.
If the grassroot of the party want one of their very own, someone who hears their cry, then Dominic is their obvious pic.
If not, money sweet.
Whatever the outcome is though, the two gentleman will do well in that position.
According to polls report from some media houses, Nana B leads, I don’t trust the polls.
My bet is on Dominic to nick it past Nana B. We can’t keep making party positions available only to the highest bidder.
Loyalty must be rewarded
That said though, I have heard about someone who camped an entire delegates of a constituency the night before Congress, fed them, paid them but went ahead to lose miserably.
After the election, he posted a public curse and threatened that anyone who doesn’t return his share of the money would receive the mail.
The gods didn’t buy it.
